550 5.7.1 Unable to relay when deployed new Edge Transport Server
I am having the biggest problem with this. Its weird because some people can send to us from external and some can't. They will send to us and get this error mesassge "550 5.7.1 Unable to relay". We just setup a Edge Transport using edgesync. The server is in a DMZ with one external and one internal interface.I just don't know why this isn't working! Here is our setup of Exchange in short2 Send ConnectorsEdgeSync - Inbound to CampSite(Address Space) Type: SMTP, Address: --, Cost: 100(Network) Route mail through the following smart hosts: -----> Smart Host authentication (NONE)(Source Server): EDGEExchange to Internet Connector(Address Space) Type: SMTP, Address: *, Cost: 100(Network) Use Domain name system (DNS) "MX" records WITH Enable Domain Security checked(Source Server) MAIL*********** I changed this connector because Edge made this go through the EDGE Server. Well no emails were getting out.. Kept getting: EDGE.adem.arkansas.gov #550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to submit to this server ##***********Receive Connectors:(DEFAULT)Network is all available IPv4 address and accept mail from ALL IP'sAuithentication is: Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Externally SecuredPermission Groups is Anonymouse Users and Exchagne SERversThis is the EXCHANGE server configuration. When doing a start-edgesyc.. everything works fine and also when you do a test-edgesync everything looks finePlease assist.. its been 2 days now with people get kick backs (some people)

Basically this problem generally occurs when your public IPs are blocked at spamhaus or any other spam engines .i explained you in more detail take an example you have a domain name abc.com and some from xyz is trying you to send you the email .now what happen the sender xyz.com is trying to send you the email and he get the same error becuase every published exchange is using an public ip and a public dns for resolving the external domains and that public dns or ip pools tell that your sender domain may be in a black list in any spam engines or etc.so please verify your domain name and your ips in spamhaus.org or any other related websites .Try to show us the complete NDR report so that we will dig out more. Thanks and Regards Syed Arsalan .syed.arsalan

I'm sorry for the late reply. The issue was with a DNS setting on our ISP's end. I couldn't tell you what it was, but some people would get blocked and some people wouldnt. Also I noticed some people came in as first.last@www.adem.arkansas.gov instead of just first.last@adem.arkansas.gov. Well that won't work because we don't have a recieve connector for that...After our ISP changed whatever they changed, the problem went away
