Hello all, I ran into a weird error message yesterday and was wondering if you guys could shed some light... "The destination does not support long file names". This happened while copying a file from one folder to another on the same server (Windows 2003), same drive, same directory. I did a few searches, but have yet to come up with anything related. The client PC was XP SP2. The only thing I saw that was odd was a few errors in Event viewer related to time sync. Will an invalid time on a client cause this type of error? I think it may be related to the time stamp on the XP machine. Both drives are formatted NTFS and the user is always moving files b/w these directories. First time this error has occurred and hasn't happened since. I would just like to know why... Thanks again, Tim
