ADUC - Exchange Extension error
Receiving the following error message when creating a new AD user account with an Exchange mailbox via the ADUC admin tool on my XP workstation. The server is not operational.Facility: Win32ID no: 8007203aMicrosoft Active Directory - Exchange ExtensionDid not have this problem previous to this week. Nothing appears to have changed in our Exchange/AD environment from what I can tell. Any suggestions?

Check to see that you can resolve FQDN and Netbios names for the Exchange Server and GC's from your workstation.

Check and make sure that you are able to communicate to your domain controller. Error 8007203a says.... # as an HRESULT: Severity: FAILURE (1), Facility: 0x7, Code 0x203a # for hex 0x203a / decimal 8250 : ERROR_DS_SERVER_DOWN

Hi, This issue may occur if DNS is improperly configured, please check below steps. 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click Network and Dial-up Connections. 3. Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties. 4. Double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). 5. In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) dialog box, click Use the following DNS server addresses. 6. In the Preferred DNS server box, type the IP address of the internal DNS server, and then click OK. NOTE: This address must be the same as the IP address configured on this computer. 7. Click OK. 8. Restart the DNS server.
