About Exchange 2007 Cluster and MSDTC service
HI~ everybody
I've installed a exchange 2007 CCR refer to the exchange 2007 help documents. but I found in the application log, these's some Error and Warning about the MSDTC adn MSDTC Client ,such as MSDTC 4147 and MSDTC Client 4148 .Refer tothe error info ,it seems I have to add MSDTC resource tothe Cluster, butclutered MSDTC resouce rely a physical disk ,we know thatthe exchange 2007 cluster use"Majority Node Set"(with out share physical disk)
then what shoul I do ?

CCR does not use Shared Disk. Each node has it's own copy of the database on it's own local disk. MSDTC is not needed for an Exchange 2007 CCR Cluster.

You only need MSDTCfor Single Copy Clusters (SCC) because this is actually the same kind of clustering as in Exchange 2003 (uses Windows Clustering)
You don't need MSDTC for Cluster Continues Replication (CCR) (uses windows clustering)
You don't need MSDTC for Standby Continues Replication (SCR) (does not use windows clustering)

the Technet article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125149(EXCHG.80).aspx
Clusters running previous versions of Exchange required a clustered instance of the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC). However Exchange 2007 removes the requirement for the clustered MSDTC resource. Clustered mailbox servers in an SCC do not use the MSDTC resource installed in the failover cluster.
Third-party applications might require an MSDTC resource because of COM+ dependencies. In Windows Server 2003, the MSDTC cluster resource requires the use of shared storage in the cluster.
If a clustered MSDTC resource is required by a third-party application, it should be installed in a cluster group that is separate from the group containing the clustered mailbox server.
