Access Denied Message when trying to remove Replication from Public folder (Exch2003sp2)
Hi, I am about to remove the 1st Exchange Server from the organisation, I have replicated all the folders and transfered them across, however there is one folder that asks me for the network password when i try to remove the replication. I enter the password for domain admin or my own (Enterprise Admin) but it won't accept it. Then it throws back the Access Denied Error message. The folder is called SYSTEM CONFIGURATION. The destination folder is fully sync'd so i was thinking of just removing the 1st Exchange server anyway, Would this be OK? I have moved all the other components over. Thanks

Hi, You don't need to replicate this folder. Leif

Would i be ok to just remove the 1st Exchange Server regardless of this then. ( i have all the services turned off andeverything is running fine) The CD uninstall won't allow me to perform it soam planning to do the manual uninstall

Hi, If all exchange services has been stopped for say a week and everything seems to work it is OK to remove the first server. You have done all this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822931/ Leif
