Accessing Shared Calendars and Mailboxes / Office 2013 on Exchange 2010

Currently my organization uses Exchange Server 2010 and we recently upgraded our Office client software from 2010 to 2013.    A handful of user are having problems seeing others shared calendars and shared inboxes.  Permissions seem to be correct and others with the same level of access have no problem seeing the same shared calendars.

When trying to select a shared inbox, the following message appears:

The set of folders cannot be opened.   Your Microsoft Exchange administrator has blocked the version of Outlook that you are using.   Contact your administrator for assistance

When trying to view a shared calendar (only on some people) no information is returned appears like there calendar is blank.   I also had one of the users log into my PC and she has the same problem on the same users calendars.   Although when I log back in, I can see everyones calendar.    I read that MS had released a patch that addressed a similar/same problem but our workstations already seem to have this patch installed.

Any ideas?

Hi,

If the folder permission is proper, please remove this shared calendar and restart Outlook, re-open the shared calendar to have a try.

Also check whether the shared folder can be opened in Outlook Online mode.
