Active Directory - unable to resolve username when trying to add as a local admin on a pc
I have set up a new user on active directory, and I am trying to add this user to local admin on a pc which is sat in one of our offices. I can see the user through the address book, and I can find the user when searching but only when i selet Entire company, not just under the domain name. When I then try and add the user I get the following error: name translation: could not fine the name or insufficient right to see the name. I am logged onto the pc as the administrator which had local right already so I cannot work out why it is not resolving the name. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. C M Kelly.
