Active Directory replication
Hi, In our company we have one domain and two active directory sites each site have two domain controllers. But the inter-site replication interval in every 180 minutes. Every day I am creating one or two new users from one site but the user is in another site. They are not able to login becasuse of this replication time. So everytime I am forcing replication manually. What is the best practice for normal inter-site replication interval time? We have around 1000 users in our domain. Thanks in advance.

I doubt you will find a best practice, it depends on your needs and your infrastructure. I personally do 15 minutes between sites.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Hi Sunder, This is Exchange server forum, AD replication related question is recommended to posted in AD forum. Your understanding would be appreciated. Just for your reference, a delay of AD replication is by design. It is best to let your users know it so that users are accustomed to a acceptable delay. Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support
