Adding a second SMTP address to a mailbox using a batch file
Hello. I'm currently runningExchange 2003 Version 6.5 (Build 7638.2: Service Pack 2) on Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition SP2. We are running Active Directory in Windows 2000 Mixed mode. I would like to add a second SMTP address to some mailboxes via a batch file and set the newly added address as the primary. Is this possible and if so how can I do this? Can you point me to some documentation on the Web for this please? Thank you.

actually, you don't need a batch file just google "recipient update policy" and you'll find everything you need.

If you want to add additional SMTP addresses to just some of your existing account then the tool ADModify.NET can easily do this. Be careful with this tool as it is quite powerful.
