Adding another account to Exchange
Ok, here is my issue...
If you have an MS Exchange Server with email of like
johndoe@domain.com can you edit or add to the 'address' field in the individuals properties to also add another email address to send the same email to it such as
johndoe@domain2.edu ? Is this possible? If it is, how can it be done if it can't be done the way I'm saying?
If I am unclear, please let me know and I'll try to figure out a new way to explain it.

2007... I'm not in control of the MS Exchange server but the people who are telling me it cannot be done because MS built it into MS Exchange to NOT be able to do it.
**Edited to take out "Probably 2003" as I found out it is in fact Exchange 2007**

In Exchange 2007 and 2010, you would add an additional SMTP address this way:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123794.aspx
Add an E-Mail Address for a User Mailbox
If they are referring to Email Address Policies:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232171.aspx
If you want to SEND AS a non-default reply from a MAPI account, there is nothing native built-in but you could use 3rd party software:

Hi,
Yes.. in Exchange 2007 you can create a Email address policy for the same.. In my company i am using the same.. I have exchange and Sharepoint . For exchange i have email address like this
username@domainname.com but for sharepoint i have two address
contactname@domainname.com and
contactname@moss.domainname.com and both email address receive emails from exchange due to multiple addresses.
Make sure after creating the another email address.. that should be resolve from domain.
Thanks
