Adding contact object to a distribution group using Powershell

Hi All,

I wish that someone know the answer because after two hours of binging and googling, nothing found.

I use Active Directory on-premise and Office 365 with Active Directory synchronization using ADSync.

Anyway, this is not the main subject, my question is simple:

I want to add a contact object to a distribution group using Powershell (On-prem).

I can use either Office 365 Powershell or Active Directory powershell, but the commands support just adding groups or users, no contact objects

I used:

Add-DistributionGroupMember (Office 365 Powershell)

Add-ADGroupmember (AD Powershell)

I used a lot of combination but no way.

Any idea, help is really appreciated.

Thanks community
