(Exchange Server 2007) When I add a new object of type 'Contact' to Active Directory, will it be detected automatically andappear in the GAL? Or do I need to go into the Exchange Management Console and add a new contact via Recipient Configuration --> Mail Contact and select 'Existing Contact'? Thanks, Sam

Just adding it in ADUC and giving it an e-mail address would work in E2K/E2K3, but it does not anymore. The mail attributes on the contact have to be enabled via the E2K7 management tools (Exchange Management Console).
