Address Lists on OWA
Exchange 2003 Server:
I have set up 100s of mail enabled external contacts in our AD.
On Exchange System Manager Recipients
under All Address Lists I have set up External Contacts Address List,
this works andappears in the drop list on our Outlook Clients;
Outlook Address Book
Contacts
Global Address List
All Adrees Lists
All Contacts
All Groups
All Users
External Contacts
Public Folders
But on our OWA users, only see
Global Address List
Contacts
How do I get the same choices on OWA clients,
do I need to add new lists to "Default Global Address Lists"
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
OWA and Outlook are two products with different orientations. OWA is based on the Internet and displays a user interface called the Premium Client, which is close in (not full) features and functionality to the UI of Outlook. It provides the most used functions of Outlook.
So it is by design. It just provides users to search the contact but cannot see the folder as it lists in outlook.
You can refer to the below article about the feature that Outlook 2003 and Outlook Web Access 2003 have.
Feature comparison between Outlook 2003 and Outlook Web Access 2003http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA010990461033.aspx Meanwhile you can try to use the RPC Over HTTP method. RPC Over HTTP enable us to access Exchange server outside the company by using Outlook.Exchange Server 2003 RPC over HTTP Deployment Scenarioshttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998950.aspx
Hope it helps.
