Affect of No Storage Limits
Can anyone tell me how exchange 2003 (on SBS2003) behaves when no storage limits are set, as in the following scenarion quoted from MS:
If the user account is configured to use mailbox store defaults and neither the Prohibit send at (KB) limit nor the Prohibit send and receive at (KB) limit is configured for the mailbox store, MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND is returned when you query the PR_PROHIBIT_SEND_QUOTA property. Additionally, no mailbox size-limit checks are performed.
I have a client with a mailbox size of 2.5gb under this scenario, and for all but one receipient, he has no issues. So, before I question the recipient, I would like to know whether Exchange enforces the 2GB mailbox limit, depsite no limits being set?
Thanks in advance.
Russell.

No Exchange by default will not enforce any size or notification limit , till the time it is set on store or individual mail boxes.Raj
