After migration problems with one e-mail enabled folder
Hi there,
we migrated our Ex2003 months ago to a new Ex2010. We have several e-mail enabled public folders and mailing to them wasn't a problem (I thought so). Now it comes to my attention, that is impossible to mail to a specific public folder. Everytime a user sent
a mail to this folder he get a NDN:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#554 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:ObjectNotFoundException.MapiExceptionNotFound; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Der Ordner konnte nicht geffnet werden. 16.55847:CA000000, 17.43559:00000000A8000000000000000100000000000000,
255.23226:2F250000, 255.27962:44000000, 255.17082:BFF9FFFF, 0.25697:00000000, 4.21921:BFF9FFFF, 255.27962:FA000000, 255.1494:00000000, 255.26426:96000000, 4.18236:BFF9FFFF, 4.7974:BFF9FFFF, 255.1750:13800000, 0.26849:4F000000, 255.21817:BFF9FFFF ##
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Der Ordner konnte nicht geffnet werden" means "the folder could not be opened".
What I tried:
1. Checking with adsiedit if theres a old "server container" as a result of the migration from Ex2003 to Ex2010. -> Container does not exist under "first administrative group.."
2. I can mail to all other public folders without any problems.
3. I "mail-diabled" them and "re-enabled" them without any success.
Any Ideas?
best regards

Match the permission of this folder with another working folder and post the result.
Looks like its permission issue..little strange :)Gulab | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2010 | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2007 | MCC 2011 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah

Hi there,
I tried already something with the permissions (forgot to mention) so they're "not default":

Hi Chris,
I forgot to ask that is it happening with one specific user only or with all the users(not able to send email to this folder)?Gulab | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2010 | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2007 | MCC 2011 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah

Hi,
I already did that in the past without any success. I disabled the folder for at least 2 hours.
