Alarms
Hello, I use Exchange 2007 and wonder if it would be able to set alarms about certificates about to expire as well as the edge subscription? Many thanks, Graig

Sure, if you have configured solid monitoring system like SCOM then you will get alert once it got expired. It will trigger alert for event id " Event ID: 12017. It depend upon you how you have set severity of alerts in your organization for SCOM alerts. The internal transport certificate has expired: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb218165(EXCHG.80).aspx Anil

Hello, Thanks for answering my question. In fact I have no solid monitoring system in place. Would you recommand any free or paid monitoring system? If SCOM is a good one, could you please pass me some more information or webpage where it explains how to set it up? Many thanks, Graig
