All emails sent by my server get junked by other servers
Hey there, I don't really know what's wrong here. I have some adresses on a ath.cx domain. When I send emails to GMX, hotmail and other mail services than they get junked by those mail servers. This is frustrating. Some emails don't even reach their targeted email adresses. This is a brand new Windows 2008 R2 server with it's first Mail Exchange 2010 server installation. Why do other services reject my emails? Is it because of the @.ath.cx adresses? Will this be solved with a common domain like .com (We get our new domain in some days)? This is a companies' server. Therefor it is unacceptable that all the mails get junked by other servers. I hope you can help me out on this. Well I can imagine that I need something like a valid certificate, but shouldn't I already have such a cert? and how to I get and deploy a working cert??? EDIT: My FQDN for EHLO, HELO is set for default and client to servername.myfirm.local and that's just not reachable from the internet. Maybe servers have a problem with that? I get my domain and FQDN in some days, it would be good to know if this fixes the problem.

Hi, I suggest you run Exchange remote connectivity analyzer https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com to do an outbound email test. It will help you check your reverse DNS, RBL as well as sender ID, and it will guide your some suggestions. Thanks, Elvis

is your mailserver your external mailgateway, or do you use a pop3-connector or somethin? in this case, it's possible that your mails, when they arrive on another mailserver, will be rejected by reverse lookup. this means, when the mail server tries to send an email to your organisation, he get's another IP as result... (against the IP, when the server receives an email from your server...)Thanks, regards, tim
