Allow all Mailboxes to Access using ExMerge Utility...
Good day guys, I would like to know how to allow all mailboxes to access and export all mailboxes to .PST files using ExMerge Utility so that I have my backup or exported Mailboxes to .PST file using ExMerge. Because when I used the ExMerge Utility on my Exchange Server copying the ExMerge files to bin directory of installed Exchange, I only exported my own Mailbox which I found on ExMerge Utility Windows 1 is only success, and the others are all failures, and also I see the .PST bytes of my own Maibox get it all, but the others are all 32Kb. Is there any other alternative, suggestions, clarifications, related links, steps, recommendation it will be a greate help... Thanks in Advance and Regards, Cheers...

To run exmerge you need to have explicit "send as" and "recieve as "permission on the server or the store level. And I am sure you will not give every body send as and recieve as permission on the store. So give your self the above stated permission on the store and then run the exmerge.Raj

Good day Raj, I just try it raj immediately on my test servers here on my laptop using VMWare I have 2 DNS Server stand alone server Win2k3, 1 A.D. Domain Controller Server, 1 DHCP, RAS Server, 1 Exchange Server. I go to Exchange Management Console then right click the Mailbox Store (ServerName) then Properties, then I go to Security Tab, then I choose the "Everyone" Group Account then I allow or check the "Send As", and "Receive As" the one you said, then I run the ExMerge Utility It works fine all of those .PST have successfully copied not just like before that it was only 32Kb which is has not copied or exported. I will use this ExMerge Utility as one alternative for the backup of all Mailboxes and to be documented for filing as "How to's". Thanks again for the information that I have got, More power to you, it helps me a lot... Cheers,
