Exchange eviornment consists of exchange 2003 and exchange 2010. Isssue: Users can't open attachments. Error receving is: The operation failed. An object cannot be found. There is a caveat to this: Scenerio 1: (User CAN'T open attachment and receives the above error) User's on the same exchange mail server BUT different mail store Scenerio 2: (User CAN open attachment) User's on the same exchange mail server AND same mail store Scenerio 3: (User CAN'T open attachment and receives the above error) User's on different exchange mail servers Scenerio 4: (User CAN open attachment) User receives email from external mail account (ie google, yahoo, hotmail) Can someone explain to me how mail flows in these situations so I can narrow down my troubleshooting?

This is no longer an issue. The team that runs the bridgehead server said they did nothing! But it works now!
