Antivirus advice
Hello, Our messaging servers run under Windows Server 2003 Standard x64 Edition and we have Microsoft Exchange 2007 SP1. We are using an Anti-Virus which is crashing pretty often and I wish to get from your experience your recommendation. Therefore, would you know any good Anti Virus that would be easy to administrate and not too expensive? Thanks to all in advance for your input and for sharing ur experience/knowledge. Graig

"Crashing" is a pretty vague term that could mean a lot of things. To solve this issue you should troubleshoot and better understand it. You should also consider updating your Windows server to SP2 and Exchange to SP3 as many problems may already be solved! Ensure your antivirus is also fully patched and configured properly. Having said this, Forefront Endpoint Protection (FEP) is the file-level antivirus from Microsoft and Forefront Protection for Exchange (FPE) is the exchange-aware solution. I've had good luck with both of these products.
