Any help would be awesome!
Hey guys.I'm hoping someone here can help me out.I appreciate any help or advice you guys can give me.I don't know that much about the tech stuff, and i've been looking for the right placeto get help for about 2 hours now and this is the closest I could find. The last thing I done was uninstalling a little program from my PC, After that I noticed a messege window on my desktop Titled "Windows File Protection" and it said (Files that are required for windows to run properly have been replacedby unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability windows must restore the original versions of these files. It asks me to insert the Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 CD into the PC.I did not receive a Windows XP CD with my PC. All software was previously installed.I've read all about what windows file protection is and how it works. Can I just restore my pc, or reinstall the right XP service pack. (I use windows xp media center edition.)Any help would be greatly appreciated.PS. If i'm in the wrong place I apologize and If anyone could show me somewhere I could get help, I'd be very grateful.
