Article ID: 933779: A snapshot copy backup of a storage group fails and Event IDs are logged in the Application log in Exchange Server 2003

With regards to Article ID: 933779, after copying the system and log files to a backup location and the server restarts. Do I place the files back in the folder before doing a full backup? Help Please!!!!

Hi No, you do not need do that. When you dismount, the log files are already in the database, so after full online backup, you mount the database, those files are useless. CheersZi Feng TechNet Community Support

Ok thank you. I got my issue resolved. I had to uninstall the antivirus that was running on the server and the backup went through.
