Hello,

I would like to build my org chart (1000+ people) based on a SQL Server query.  Not all of the relationships are manager/subordinate; some are manager/assistant, manager/consultant, etc.  Can Visio capture all of these possible relationship types from a data source? From what I've seen online, the only type of relationship that Visio can import is a simple manager/subordinate relationship.

Let the Organization Chart template automatically draw the connectors that establish the reporting relationships in your organization chart.

To automatically establish a reporting relationship, drag a shape from the Organization Chart Shapes stencil, and then drop the shape directly on top of the shape that represents the position to which it reports.
