Attachments Missing From Emails
A few of our users are experiencing a strange issue. They are running microsoft office 2003 and are attached to an SBS 2003 mailbox. It "seems" that when a specific outside users sends an attachments to these internal users, several users don't get the attactment. They will get the email but the attachment will be missing and there will be no sign of it whatsover. Outlook doesn't say anything about stripping off the attachment. I also access these mailboxes in OWA and the attchments aren't visible in there either. I even had the outside user send the attachment to several users including the admin mailbox. The admin mailbox received the attachment just fine. However, the other users still did not receive the attachment. These are a variety of attachments like .doc and .pdf files. We are using GFI mail essentials for spam and AVG for antivirus but as far as I can tell. neither of those applications are stripping the attachment off either.

The 1st palce I would start is by disabling/removing GFI & AVG and test. It seems like you can easily repro this issue. If you don't see if it OWA either, then it being removed somewhere along the route.Sukh
