Help My home PC was attacked by several viruses that have now been quarantined and removed. However, I have several thngs that are now pooched on my PC. 1. When I click Start, Runis not displayed which stops me from running regedit to fix other issues such as: 2. "Task Manager disabled by system administrator" is displayed when trying to view task manager 3. when trying to display properties on desktop message "your system administrator disabled the Display control panel 4. Virus Alert displayed next to the clock on taskbar 5. The c: drive is not displayed under My Computer 6. All Programs not listed under Start Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, This is an Exchange server news group - you really should post such a question in a windows xp news group. Are you sure that you have removed all vira - no trojan or key logger still there. Just to be sure you should save all data and then reinstall the workstation. Leif
