Auto Accept stops working on a resource
So we have an Exchange 2007 environment and use resource mailboxes for our conference rooms. The issue that we're seeing is as follows: a resource mailbox is set up with the Auto Accept service. Everything runs fine for a while and the resource automatically responds to booking requests as intended. Then after a while the room stops responding altogether. I've tried disabling auto accept and re-enabling. I've tried moving the mailbox to another database. None of these things work. Since implementing Exchange 2007, I've seen this issue twice. The first time I was only able to fix it by deleting the room and starting from scratch. That wasn't a problem with that particular room because it had very few meetings in it. This one, however, has many meetings already booked into it and I don't want to have to delete the room. Has anyone come across this issue? Know how to fix it? Know where to look to see why it might be occuring? Anything would be helpful. I've scoured the internet to no avail. Thanks in advance.

Hi, You can increase diagnostic log level for Resource Booking Attendant to troubleshoot the issue: Set-eventloglevel MSExchangeMailboxAssistants\Resource Booking Attendant level expert After that, please reproduce the issue and check whether any related event is logged. Please also run following command and post result here to check the resource mailbox settings: Get-mailboxcalendarsettings mailbox |fl Would you please let me know whether only this resource mailbox encountered the problem? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mike Shen TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, pleasecontact tngfb@microsoft.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
