Auto Accepting meeting for user mailbox
Hi,
My requirement is to auto accept or auto cancel meeting for User mailbox on exchange server 2007. Such type of configuration is possible for Resource mail box in Exchange. Can any one suggest some rules or configuration to make it work with user mailbox
?
As many of my users in Exchange use mobile devices and don't have a PC where they have Outlook client, hence i need to accept or cancel meetings at exchange server level .
All valuable solutions are appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi, that's possible by using the Set-MailboxCalendarSettings. Have a look to this post:

Hi Sarfaraj,
You can activate auto accept for your mailboxes from server using following command.
Set-MailboxCalendarSettings -Identity "mailbox addess" -AutomateProcessing AutoAccept
for more parameters, Please refer to this link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996340(EXCHG.80).aspx

Thanks for your Suggestion.
I need to accept meetings coming from a specific Email ID, and not all incoming requests. Can you please let me know if this is possible in this ?

There is a workaround. But it will work if you are using Outlook 2007 and lower.

Hello Sarfaraj,
I think you can achieve using delegates. If you create a delegate of a resource mail box for user mailboxes, All calendar request done to resource mailbox by delegated users will be accepted automatically. though
that resource have auto-accept disable.
to configure resource delegate use following command:
Set-MailboxCalendarSettings <Resource Mailbox Name> -ResourceDelegates: <Mailbox>
for more detail please refer: http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/managing-resource-mailboxes-exchange-server-2007-part3.html
Hope this will help.
