Auto Discovery Issue
I have one CAS, MBX/HUB server. A pretty simple setup. I have two email domains configured, domain1.com and domain2.com. domain1.com is the default domain, all autodiscovery and availability services work correctly. When using the Test Autoconfiguration with domain2.com I get a 0x800c8203 error. When testing test-outlookwebservices -id user1@domain1.com everything is fine, when doing it with domain2 user2@domain2.com it fails and says error:500 email address does not exist. I have a feeling this may be related to address lists? However, the user2 shows up in them all? any ideas? thank you! users of domain2 cannot use out of office right now because of this, big problem. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you configured the correct dns entries for auto discovery for domain2 ?I also find some issues which were resolved by installing rollup pack 1.Regards,Johan

When you use owa canyou setthe Out of office reply - The problem might be in a setting in IISOpen Up IIS on your exchange server -Expand you web sites then your default web sitego to EWS - righ click it go to propertiesGo to directory securityGo to authentication and access control - click editDisallow anonymous accessThen see if it works. If it still shows up as a problem - * If you have two CAS servers, disable one and see if you have the problem. This way we should be able to narrow it down to where the issue lies.

i have one cas, one mbx/hub hosting two email domains.everything works fine, internally and externally for domain1 (which is also the active directory domain) domain2 which is just an smtp domain and the users have a upn suffix change for that domain when they login e.g. domain2@domain2.com they are the ones that are getting the error, however, out of office in owa works fine, only outlook 2007 seems to have the problem, the ews directory has the default security parameters set, no anonymous access set.thanks for the reply- gm
