Auto forwarded by a Rule
This is a little complicated so I will start by explaining our system.
We have Microsoft Exchange 2003
All accounts on our local domain can send only internally (connector denies access to global system)
There is an exception for some accounts which are assigned to a specific group.
The Problem
We want those who can send only locally to be able to send to some global accounts.
Our solution
Make accounts which can send to global system and set a rule which forwarded all incoming email to their global account.
The only problem with this is we are getting this below and when we select reply it put the local account which forwards the messages into the to box. Can we create a custom form which, or make a button which searches the message for Auto Forwarded by Rule which is in the first ten lines of the message. The form would search for that text and then replace the send field on the reply message to the from field in the original message. An even better solution would be to edit the rule to send on behalf of the original sender or something like that so that the message would appear in the inbox as though it was the original sender. Any Ideas or solutions as to how we can do this. We cannot use the forward option in delivery options as it just redirects the email to the global system which the local users do not have access to. God Bless,
