Autodicover URL not working & matching with certificate
Please help me correct the autodiscover on my exchange 2007.
The Autodiscover URL on my exchange server is
https://email.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
when I browse to this site using my web browser i get
Service Unavailable - HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.
The autodiscover SAN mentioned on my digicert certificate is autodiscover.domain.com
when I browse to this site using my web browser i get
Server Error
403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
I also noticed in IIS 7 under my exchange box, the MSExchangeAutodiscoverAppPool is stopped.
I need to correct the autodiscover settings on my exchange 2007. please advise on how to correct this.
Do I need to match the URLs on my Exchange & my certificate?
Thank You
Philip

Depending what names you have in your certificate, set the URI accordingly.
Also, what is your common name?

Hello,
Please start MSExchangeAutodiscoverAppPool.
And make sure that the URL can resolve internally and externally via DNS to the expected IP address of the CAS server.
You can get more information on autodiscover and certificate from the article.
