Autodiscover issue NEED help
hi everyone,I am having a strange Autodiscover issue right now. I havea customer with 2 forests with a forest trust. I have a Cert with SAN entries for both companies. Company 1 has Exchange and Company 2 has linked mailboxes. I have A records created for both domains and they are both reachable by pings. I have 1 exchange server with a consolidated configuration.Problem - Users in Company 1 can't get Autodiscover to work. If I run test exchagne connectivity from outlook on a domain joined machine it fails instantly saying cannot resolve any records. (I have a "A" record created for Autodiscover.company1.com pointing to the CAS role)I run test-outlookwebservices from the actual exchange server and I get the following error.[PS] C:\Windows\System32>test-outlookwebservices user1@comany1.com.om | fl

My cert I have created is a external 3rd party cert with owa.comany1.com as my CN and the san list goes as followed:owa.comany1.comautodiscover.comany2.comautodiscover.comany1.comowa.company2.comI am wonderingif the order is screwing me up but I am not sure. It is also strange that Autodiscover can't seem to find my created records.Any help would be GREATThanks in advance

Hi,
From the test-OutlookWebServices result, it seems that the Autodiscover works well on the server.
At this time, would you please capture a screenshot to me when you perform Test E-Mail Autoconfiguration on a domain joined Outlook Client? In addition, please capture screenshots for both Results and Log tab. You can send screenshot to me at v-mishen@microsoft.com
Please also let me know whether I understand your environment correctly. Please correct me if I am wrong.
The Exchange Mailbox Server and CAS server are installed in Company1 organization. The mailbox enabled user is created in Company1. The Outlook client is joined Company1 domain. The company2 is not involved in the issue currently.
