Hi folks,we are migrating our test enviroment from E2k3 to E2k7 . I now have a problem that's keeps hanging around for the last few days. Outlook 2007 doesn't downloads is Offline address book. First there was no OAB generated. That's fixed, recreated the OAB VDR. Now I'm still having the problemen that the autodiscover function isn't using the correct URL's. Already removed and recreated the VDR for autodiscover. The ptc559n02, was a NLB name that was enterd at time of installation. (This name was incorrect, because there was already a server with that name) How can I reconfigure/rebuild the configuration, so that the ptc559n22 is used for autodiscover.

Hi, From your output, I notice that the ptc559n22 is used for Autodiscover URL already. Nevertheless, the OAB URL and EWS URL still use ptc559n02. I would like to explain that you can configure the OAB and EWS URL by using Set-OABVirtualDirectory and Set-WebServicesVirtualDirectory command. For your reference: Set-OABVirtualDirectory http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124707.aspx Set-WebServicesVirtualDirectory http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997233.aspx In addition, after updating the OAB and EWS Virtual Directory, I suggest you restart the IIS and run Outlook 2007 to check whether the correct URLs are retrieved: Note: I also suggest you restart Outlook 2007 before testing the issue. It is because Outlook has a cache in memory for URls. 1). On the problem Outlook client, launch Outlook 2). Hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and click the Outlook icon in the notification area of the Windows taskbar, also known as the notification area. 3). In the menu that appears, click Test E-mail AutoConfiguration. 4). Enter your E-mail Address and Password (if not logged into the domain) in the respective edit boxes. 5). Choose the desired auto configuration methods with Use Autodiscover, clear other selection. 6). Click Test. Mike

@Abuthaheer,The problem was that the OAB url was configured with another DNS name, that was in the certificate. We already resolved that. Found it, when I tried to open the OAB url, in a browser session.

Hi, The error code 0x80072F06 means ERROR_INTERNET_SEC_CERT_CN_INVALID. Looks like that it is a certificate related issue. From your description, I guess that the OAB download issue has been solved.
