Autodiscover settings issues
I have Exchange 2007 set up on Server 2008, with all the latest updates. All of the DNS entries for Autodiscover are set up and work. Autodiscover itsself works, with one exception. It's pushing the wrong Outlook Anywhere settings. I have the server configured to use NTLM authentication, but Autodiscover is pushing out Basic, thus causing clients to have connectivity issues. HOW do you modify the Autodiscover service to push out the RIGHT settings? This has been a thorn in my side for a long time now, and I haven't been able to find ANY info. In theory, the autodiscover service is a good idea. In practice, not so much.

How did you set the authentication methods on the virtual directory?Did you use the Set-AutodiscoverVirtualDirectory cmdlet or did you setthe methods in the IIS manager? If you set the methods in IIS I think you did the wrong thing. Use thecmdlet and see if the problem goes away.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP--- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

In addition to Rich i would also ask you to make sure your Autodiscovery is set properly. Take a look @ below article http://www.exchange-genie.com/2007/07/exchange-2007-autodiscover-service-part-1/Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|
