My computer crashed and I lost an important excel document.  AUTOSAVE did not save my document.  I know it was working.  Can I find the lost file anywhere.

We have definitely heard your frustration, please try the following methods to check if they can help us to recover the lost files.

1) Click File > Info > Manage Versions > Recover Unsaved Documents in Word, Recover Unsaved Workbooks in Excel

2) Go to this Unsaved file path to find the temp file:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel path. And the name of the new folder is the same as the name of the file.
