Backup of Exchange 2007 SP1 rollup 5
Is there an internal backup within Exchange? I want to make sure there is not anything backing up Exchange at the same time our regular backup is running. I have checked the backup under system tool and we do not have anything in place or scheduled. Thanks

Hi,No, Exchange doesn't take backup itself automatically. You need to run backup job manually for Exchange database backup or need to setup a scheduled backup job to run regularly at scheduled time...Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Amit, So I would need to use the System Tools backup or a Third party backup? There is nothing in exchange to set a backup job? Thanks
