Best practices / suggestions for outlook 2007 performances

Need best practices / suggestions for better Outlook 2007 perfomances.
We are using Outlook 2007 SP2 and Exchange Server 2007.

Mostly it's item count that's the main cause of slowness. For exchange 2007 you want to keep the item count for each folder under 20k, all depending on other factors of course. Also if you have additional mailboxes opened, and you have other users that have
