Hello Everyone,

I'm currently using Visio 2010 and came across a new issue: when I print a Visio diagram either to a printer or a PDF document I see a square around each shape. Black when the document is sent to a printer or white when printed to a PDF document. This display is perfect it's just a printing issue regardless of the printer I use.

The square looks like a connector / link / anchor between the shape and it's label located on the right hand side of the shape.

Have you experienced this issue before?

Any help will be appreciated.

Where did the shapes come from? It sounds like you are using clipart and the background is visible.

did you ever get to an answer for this?  i'm having the same problem right now.

nope. account not verified! when i am verified i will

basically, it appears on document icons.  doesn't matter if i'm printing to PDF, XPS, or a laser printer (though the box is white in XPS documents)

but if i delete the little Office document icons, i no longer see them.  it looks like the masking of the 'handle' on the right hand side of all of the icons

there- i put it in as my avatar image - does that help?

Looks like it could be something to do with dataGraphics.
