Block email delivery to certain users at certain time slots
HI, We have single Exchange 2007 server that hosts all our mailboxes. Is it possible to stop the delivery of email to say a certain subset of users between certain hours i.e. members of a particular distribution group should not receive mail between 13:00 and 16:00?? Cheers

Hi Celtic, Do you say stop means, just delay the delivery for that time period and deliver those once the time period is over? Or permanently delete the mails during that time period? It is not possible to stop/delay the delivery for certain time period. Or you may need to write your own custom transport agent. But if you want to permanently delete mails then create a transport rule to delete mails to set of users (who all are member of DL) and enable/disable the rule with the powershell script at scheduled time.
