Hello,Lot of reading but no solution thus far.... here's my issue. Exchange 07 server, two DC's 08 & 03... installed exchange 07 and needed to perform reinstall after modifying ADSI keys based on tech articles... Everything looks fine however when I create a outlook profile on a receive the message "The bookmark is not valid".... I have two 08 terminal servers and it works on one and doesn't on the other.... I have ripped my hair out..... ANY suggestion would be appreciated.... I have seen others with this problem but non of the "fixes" seems to work for me....Exchange analyzer reports all is well.... update OAB, GAB...thanks

Hi Jim, From your description, I understand that the error Bookmark is not valid is encountered when attempting to check name when configuring Outlook Profile. If I am off base, please let me know. At this time, please let me know: 1. Whether all the users encountered the problem on all the Outlook clients? Or only on specific Outlook client, specific user? 2. Whether both DCs are promoted to GCs? Whether you have restarted the two DCs after promoted to GC? 3. Whether the users are able to access their mailboxes through OWA? 4. When configuring Outlook profile, please provide the GC servers IP Address separately instead of Microsoft Exchange Server name to check whether the issue still persists. 5. If the issue persists, please ensure that we can ping GC Servers successfully. Please also let me know whether any firewall exists between Outlook client and GC servers? Mike
