Bounce
I was wondering if someone is familiar with this bounce message, We are having alot of problems getting info from the senders organization to track these bounce messages, and they are only from certain senders, most mail flows through with no problems, i have checked what i am familiar with on our exchange server but i don't see anything different on this server compared to the other exhange servers we have installed, i have also checked telnet connections, with what seems to be no problems on our end, any help will be appreciated. Once you have resent the document you may delete this Delivery Failure Report. If resending the document is not successful you will receive a new failure report. Unless you receive other Delivery Failure Reports, the document was successfully delivered to all other recipients.

Update, we have narrowed the problem down to not receiving mail from .gov organizations, is there something within exchange that would block certain extensions ?????? also here is another bounce reply with more detail: Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists: jxxxxxl@lxxxxxxo.org<mailto:xxxxl@lxxxxxxxxxx.org> A communication failure occurred during the delivery of this message. Another update, we have now found that the .gov cant send to certain recipients in ourorganiztion but can to others, we havealso been in contact with the senders admin, and they have successfully sent emailthrough a telnet session, i am at a complete lose now, has anybody else run into to this before????

Hi, From the NDR, we could see the issue is caused by timed out while sending RCPT TO. If we wanna determine why this time out happen, we mayneed to use network monitor to capture network traffic on both server when sending email. Please contact remote admin to see if they can temporary disable the third party software and test the issue. In most cases, the issue can be caused by a smtp filter or ect Can you send email to them before? Regards, Elvis

Can you send email to them before? Yes my users can send to the domain in question, no problem, the part i can't figure out is why the domain in question can send to some of my users but not to a handful of others, i have read some other posts, where they were saying check the firewall device for firmware/updates/signatures, possible being the cause?????
