Bouncing email
Our sister company accidentally reconnected one of our mailboxes from our mailstore to one of their accounts. I took it back, deleted the users email account and reconnected it to his account. This has worked in the past without any problems but I have tested this and I get the following message when i try to test the account. I have checked all the recommended advice.- kb/326304 A configuration error in the e-mail system caused the message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between two recipients. Thanks

Hi I have found the following log - but all our other email addresses are working fine just this one that was recreated. Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeTransport Event Category: NDR Event ID: 3017 Date: 12/17/2010 Time: 2:29:27 PM User: N/A Computer: WLMAIL01 Description: A non-delivery report with a status code of 5.3.5 was generated for recipient rfc822;IMCEAex-_O=UNISEMGROUP_OU=WALES_CN=RECIPIENTS_CN=Jplett79259848@unisemgroup.com (Message-ID <F333470B2FB8E6488DC9DF26736EA813EECF64@wlmail01.unisemgroup.com>). Causes: A looping condition was detected. (The server is configured to route mail back to itself). If you have multiple SMTP Virtual Servers configured on your Exchange server, make sure they are defined by a unique incoming port and that the outgoing SMTP port configuration is valid to avoid looping between local virtual servers. Solution: Check the configuration of the virtual serverÆs connectors for loops and ensure each virtual server is defined by a unique incoming port. So you share a common AD forest? Start with this: get-recipient Jplett79259848@unisemgroup.com | fl recipienttype Is it a mailbox or a contact or a mail-enabled user? Is there an external e-mail address set on the object? get-recipient Jplett79259848@unisemgroup.com | fl emailaddresses, external* Use LDP and connect to each of the DCs in the forest and verify that the legacyExchangeDN assigned to the user is unique. Do the same for each of the e-mail addresses. There may be a replication problem (or just a delay) that's sending the mail back to the originating server. Knowing what release of Exchange you're using on each of the machines would be helpful, too. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

We have a legitimate website www.angelescity.ph a Free Classifieds Ads site, once an advert is posted we automatically sent an email verification also when someone joins a verification email is sent, Yahoo has been bouncing them and of course new accounts cannot be opened. We don't send spam. Anyone have an idea how to get Yahoo to allow those emails. Or even get an answer from Yahoo. rejuv by caci
