Running Exchange 2007 SP2 on Windows 2008 SP2 using SCC active/passive. Node1: 192.168.1.1. Node2: 192.168.1.2 CMS: 192.168.1.3 Can anyone tell me what the CMS IP address is associated with? I know Node1 IP is associated with Node1 NIC, and Node2 IP with Node2 NIC, but what about the CMS? What is that IP actually registered against, apart from the CMS 'A' record?

Hi, CMS IP is the IP which you see if ping CMS name. Like cms mailbox server name is mail1 then ping it and verify IP address. Please correct me if i understand your question correctly.Anil
