I created a second SMTP Connector in the ESM of exchange server 2003 ent. The objective is to block some users from sending mails from their outlook to yahoo and allow some users to be able to send to yahoo. In the address space i added the yahoo address, under delivery restriction i choose by default all users are rejected and specify that some users be allowed . All the users are blocked from sending mails to yahoo after the configuration. How can I achieve my objective?

A registry key on the Exchange Server 2003-based bridgehead server, which is the source for the connector that is being checked, controls the restriction-checking functionality. If you need to configure a connector to restrict who can send data to the designated link, you must manually add the restriction-checking registry value. To enable the registry keys for delivery restrictions Start Registry Editor: From a command prompt, type Regedit.exe. Navigate to and select the following key in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/RESvc/Parameters/ On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value: Copy Value Name: CheckConnectorRestrictions Data Type: REG_DWORD Date: 1 Radix: Decimal Exit Registry Editor: On the Registry menu, click Exit. Thanks very much Hasnain. However I need more clarifications. The registry key mentioned in your solution already exist in my regedit. The only difference is that mine has Radix: Hexadecimal Should I change the Hexadecimal to Decimal? Or create additional one that will have Radix:Decimal? Kind regardsjimoh

Jimoh, That should not make any differnece whether the value is in Hexadecimal or Decimal. Still lets change the value to decimal and see if that works. Also make sure the you reset the services as mentioned in my previous reply.
