Calendar Permissions
" Windows 2003 Sp2 Std / eXchange 2003 Sp2." One user wanted specific people (about 5 in all) to have access to her Calendar, out of these 5 people no one else should be able to see what goes on in her calendar, though, certain people (not everyone) outside these 5 can access her calendar, and in one case, one user i picked at random, can not only read, but write also, not to mention he is able to view everyones calendar including admins. This user has no special permissions, he is only a member of "domain users" which hold no God-like permissions as it is .. Ive checked every permission going, ive used PFDAVAdmin to set the permissions too, still nothing .. im incredibly stuck .. ive asked my colleagues here and all of them are confused, it makes no sence .. if anyone can shine some light on this, it would be great :) thanks in advance

What other permissions do you see in the calendar particularly do you see "default" or "anonymous" if so what permissions do they have? Also just sanity check, I've seen it where some admins in the past had unknowlingly granted full mailbox rights to all domain users at the ESM org level security tab.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Check the permissions on a user whose calendar this user can access? Check permissions on the mailbox database to see if this user has any permissions set. Sukh

Hello, Yes, I have tested the issue on my lab machine. Even though I grant the “None” permission to user, default and Anonymous, the user’s free/busy information still can be seen. Thanks, Simon
