Calendar free/busy information published
Hi all:I want to know how much of a hit in performance will my Exchange 2003 server face if I increase the Calendar setting free/busy information published.I currently have a group policy enforced for the entire domain that limits publishing free/busy information set to 2 months. Wouldn't you know someone wants to book appointments past the 2 month window. I can increase the the group policy setting to lets say.... 6 months however, I have no clue how much processing power power it will be used with the increase in months to query? Will the increase slow down overall performance on the Exchange server? Will the search into the future for free/busy data take forever?Exhange server information:Processor: Pentium 4x3GHzRAM: 4GBUsers: 520Network: 1GBThanks

Hello Jon, Free Busy datais really small in size & stored in public folders. Extra data for additional months may cause an extra RPC operation so it really doesn't hit any performance of Exch Server... This will explain you in detail... Exchange Free / Busy message size
