Calendar import
I am trying to import my calendar from Windows XP on one computer to Windows Vista on another computer. Vista wants a file extension of .ics but the only extension that XP makes available is .cvs. The Windows calendar on my Vista computer is version 6.0. It was resident on the computer when I bought it and is not part of Office. How can I do the import?

Clarify: You want to export calendar to iCalendar format on Windows XP, right?
Unfortunately, per my research, prior to Outlook 2007, theres no native outlook feature which can export calendar as iCalendar format
Outlook 2007:
1. Run outlook
2. Go menu->Calendar
3. File menu->Save As
4. In the Save As window->click More Options->select Whole Calendar in Date Range->OK and save, itll be iCalendar format
Prior to Outlook 2007:
Herere some 3rd-party tools which can do the task, but its just based on my research, theres no guarantee for the results:

Calendar ImportExport For Outlook 1.1
Outlook Export 1.0

Hi, Rv'er. Does the suggestions work for you? How's the issue?

As you suggested it doesn't look like there was any calendar export in the 2003 Outlook so I manually input my calendar entries into Windows Calendar 6.0. It is not part of Outlook and I don't have Outlook on my new computer. I am having considerable difficulty with Windows Calendar 6.0. It does not display a notification window when an appointment is due. A work-around I've learned from much surfing of forums is to use the task capability which is part of it. It still does not display a notification window but it does highlight Windows Calendar on the task bar.
