Can't Edit Shared Calendar in OWA 2013

I am in the stages of testing Exchange 2013 and I am finding an issue with editing shared calendars in OWA.

Scenario:

I have given a user (user1) full access to another users (user2) mailbox.  Within Outlook (2007 in this case) I have added the mailbox of user2 to user1's account and can edit all mail and calendar items for user2 as expected.

However, when I go to OWA and logon as user1 and add the Calendar of user2; it adds the calendar just fine and I can see all of the items on user2's calendar, but when I try to add or edit an item nothing happens.  What I mean is it simply does not respond to any mouse input.  If I double click on a day nothing happens, if I right click nothing happens.  The calendar simply cant be modified.  User1 can modify items on their own calendar as expected.  Also, if I have both User1 and User2's calendar checked it will not allow me to edited anything even on user1's calendar.

I have also tried changing user2's calendar sharing permissions from Outlook to specificly make user1 an owner, but still cannot edit in OWA.

Anyone have any ideas?  Is this a know issue?

If it works in Outlook, it should work in OWA.  My first thought would be a browser issue. What browser are you using to access OWA?  If it's not IE then let's try IE as a test.  If it is IE, I would say try Chrome or Firefox.

What CU are you running? Try IE, if it works in IE but not chrome or firefox, check if your reverse proxy has any rules blocking any any *mouse.css files in your themes.

I have tested using IE 11 and with google chrome with the same results.

Running Exchange 2013 SP1, no CU's past SP1 are installed, I will try to get CU7 installed.  Also, no reverse proxy is in use.  I am testing from an internal domain joined client using integrated authentication.

I would try that first, see if the new CU7 owa control themes will fix it.

Hi,

In addition to James's suggestion, you can follow the steps below to add the OWA site to the Compatibility Mode and check the result.

In IIS -> Go to ECP Virtual directory -> Under HTTP Response header --> remove X-UA-Compatible value="IE=EmulateIE7"

Hope this can be helpful to you.

I will try this suggestion if after I install  CU7 the issue still persists.  I am in the middle of migrating users at this point, this will take several days.  I will post back results of CU7 when it is installed.
