Hey guys, I've just deployed OWA on Exchange 2010 SP1 and have almost everything working great (This is my first time ever working with Exchange - or any email software). Due to the nature of the small business I'm working for, and their lack of interest in funding real equipment, I only have one IP address coming in to serve all of our many IIS sites and exchange. In order to make OWA, I had to change the HTTP and HTTPS ports in IIS on the EXCH box. However doing so made it so I cannot access EMC without changing the ports back. I can connect via shell using the port number for HTTP, but not EMC. Any ideas?

That seems to be on the right track, but none of the commands do anything in the cmd environment or powershell.

I'm not sure why you need to change the port. If you were to use something like TMG 2010 or ISA 2006 to publish your various websites to the Internet, you could do it all with one IP address and it would route the various requests to their respective servers based on the URLs. Alternatively, you can create a new OWA web site and assign it a different port number instead of changing the default website, and then you could continue using the default port assignments as well as new ones. Hi new_IT_guy, Per your description, you installed the exchange server on the server box with other web service installed, and changed the port that http and https used, right? It is not strongly suggested to deploy the software as that, and is not supported. Because the EMC use the http, it will use the default port. Regards!
