I'm having the same problem others are having.  I have a valid product key for Vision 2010, but it isn't recognized as valid from the application.

I downloaded the 64 bit version from:

I am trying to activate a copy of Visio 2010 as I had to reinstall after my laptop crashed. The Visio licence belongs to my employer and my laptop is my work laptop. I have followed the instructions above but get the following when trying to activate:

Hi Anthony,

it looks like you're trying to activate an evaluation/trial download, which is no longer possible for such an old version of Visio2010.

If your entitlement for Visio is via your employer, your employer can provide you with a current/suitable installable copy of Visio and the relevant product key to activate it.

If your entitlement is via an employment benefit (Home Use Program = HUP), you will need to retrieve the original email with download link and key for this old version, or, register via your employer's HUP for a current Visio2013 entitlement.
