Can't connect
I am new to this so I hope I accurately communicate the problem.From my home,I,at times, can connect to exchange to check my work email and at times I can't.There is no particular time of day when I have this problem.When I take my laptop to work, I have no problem with connecting to exhange. The computer guys at work gave me several things to try and I did all of them and can't connect now,as I type. I deleted mcafee, disabled pop up blocker, made it a trusted site, etc. I use internet through comcast cable and have a wireless router. I also made sure this was configured right. This problem also happens when I use my b/f computer at his house, he too has comcast. Is this a problem w/ my jobs server, my computer, my ISP, my router or what?!! please help b/c until it's fixed completely, I can't work from home!!!! Thanks

This is really one of those things where it can be a lot of different things. Since it doesn't just happen with you, we at least narrowed it down to an issue not just with your computer. Since he also has Comcast, it could be an issue with a Comcast router/device somewhere between you guys and the office. Are there any other people that have this issue at the office? If not, I would suspect that there are no issues on the mail server at the office or the Internet link at the office. If it's really only an issue with you and your boyfriend. who I suspect live near each other and are on the same Comcast link, then I would think it's an issue with Comcast.I had a similar issue a few years ago with my older ISP. They had an issue back at the Central Office with one of their devices, and our whole city had intermittent connectivity issues. After many complaints, they found the issue, fixed it, and voila, everything was all peaches and cream.
